Memory Copilot — Subscription Terms
Effective Date: 2026-04-30 — DRAFT v0.1, founder review pending. This document is a working draft. It is not legal advice. Final language will be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch.
These Subscription Terms supplement the Terms of Use and apply to paid plans of Memory Copilot. By starting a paid subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms and to the Terms of Use.
1. Plans & Pricing
All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are identical on iOS and Android. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by us.

Quotas are enforced server-side and may be adjusted with notice (see Section 7).
2. Free Trial
Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly include a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers, subject to Apple’s and Google’s eligibility rules.
- The trial begins immediately when you start a Pro plan.
- If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will be charged the full price of the plan you selected.
- You may cancel at any time during the trial. If you cancel, you keep Pro features until the end of the trial period; no charge will be made.
- Trial eligibility is tracked by Apple / Google across re-installs. Users who have previously used a free trial generally cannot re-use one.
3. Billing & Auto-Renewal
- Auto-renewal — Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Renewal price changes — If we change the renewal price, Apple / Google will request your consent before the new price applies (per platform policy). If you do not consent, the subscription will not renew.
- Lifetime — A one-time charge with no recurring billing. The Lifetime plan grants access to current and future Pro features identified as “Lifetime-included” in the app at the time of upgrade or at our reasonable discretion thereafter (see Section 8).
4. Cancellation
You can cancel any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the current paid period.
iOS (App Store)
- Open Settings on your device.
- Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
- Tap Memory Copilot → Cancel Subscription.

- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Memory Copilot → Cancel subscription.

The Memory Copilot app’s Settings → Subscription page links directly to the platform’s manage-subscription screen.
5. Refunds
We do not directly process payments and therefore do not directly issue refunds. Refund eligibility is governed by the platform you purchased through:
- iOS — submit a refund request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides at its discretion under its standard policy.
- Android — open the order in the Google Play app or visit play.google.com. Google decides under its standard policy.
If a platform issues a refund, the corresponding Pro entitlement is revoked.

6. Family Sharing
Memory Copilot does not support Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library for the v1 release. Each user must have their own subscription. Family Sharing support may be added in a future release; if and when it is, we will update these Subscription Terms.
Note: this is independent of “Shared Memory Spaces”, which is a product feature that lets you invite others to co-write into a memory container — not a billing feature. Each invited member needs their own account, but they do not need a Pro subscription to participate as a viewer or editor in someone else’s shared space (subject to the inviter’s Pro plan limits).
7. Quota & Plan Changes
We may adjust plan quotas (e.g., daily AI chat limit, total memory cap) with reasonable advance notice. Decreases that materially reduce a paid user’s existing entitlement will be communicated at least 7 days in advance, and you may cancel at any time before the change takes effect.
We will not retroactively reduce the quotas of users who already paid for the affected billing period.
8. Lifetime Plan — Specifics
The Lifetime (Founding Members) plan is a limited-availability one-time purchase. By purchasing it, you understand and agree that:
- The Lifetime plan is limited to the first 500 paying members. Once sold out, it is no longer offered (or is offered only at a higher price at our discretion).
- “Lifetime” means for as long as the Memory Copilot Service remains commercially operated by us. We commit to providing reasonable advance notice (≥ 90 days) before any sunset of the Service or material discontinuation that would affect Lifetime members.
- The Lifetime plan covers current and future Pro features that we mark as “Lifetime-included”. Premium add-ons specifically labeled as separate products at launch are not included.
- The Lifetime plan does not transfer between Apple ID and Google account. The platform that processed the original purchase manages your entitlement.
- Refunds on Lifetime purchases follow the platform’s standard policy (see Section 5). After the platform’s refund window, no refund is available.
9. Taxes
Prices shown in the app may exclude applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax), which Apple or Google may collect and remit on our behalf depending on your jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these Subscription Terms. Material changes will be communicated as described in Section 15 of the Terms of Use.
